BIG BAND EXTRAVAGANZA - LITTLE SHIPS CLUB, North Stradbroke Island. 3rd and 4th December, 2004 Enjoy a memorable weekend at one of this most special venue, the Little Ships Club at Dunwich, North Stradbroke Island. This will be a weekend of superb big band music showcasing the talents of some of Brisbane's best musicians, including the vocal talents of Ms Tracey Lundberg Featuring; Friday Night, 3rd of December, 2004. 7pm to late. Sojourn will playing and extensive range of traditional and contemporary standards from Gershwin and Jobim to Rollins and Porter. Featurning vocals of Tracey Lundberg, Sojourn's line up will include a full rhythm section of bass, drums, keyboard and guitar, with a front line of clarinet, saxes, trumpet, fluegal horn, and trombone, Saturday Night, 4th December, 2004 7pm to late. Enjoy the big band era at its finest with the New Groove Jazz Ensemble, as we all "Take The A Train" on a journey "Beyond the Sea" that will include many of the great big band swing and latin favourites, we all know and love. Dance and "Jump Jive and Wail" the night away to some of the best live music for what promises to be an "Unforgettable" night.

Recent Gigs Sojourn at Mitchelton Sojourn, one of Brisbane's newest jazz bands will be playing at the MITCHELTON COMMUNITY AND SCHOOLS INFOFEST. Come and join us for an afternoon of outstanding jazz, blues, swing, pop and funk. Sojourn is a 9 piece band made of horns, reeds, bass, guitars, drums and keyboards. We play a wonderful mix of standards, essentials and original pieces, all given the Sojourn treatment.
